Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy (APM)
The Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy (APM) is a medical association in Berlin, providing specialist training for the Specialist in Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy certificate as well as the additional qualifications in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. Training is conducted in accordance with the regulations of the Federal Medical Council of Germany and the Berlin Medical Council.

Depression or anxiety can be the expression of an underlying psychosomatic disorder. The reasons for a patient seeing a physician are often cardiac, pulmonary or abdominal symptoms, headache, back pain and sexual problems.
